Let's be honest about "Quiet Luxury"
Quiet luxury is a trend that I am loving lately, and I think it's catching on for good reason. There's something so chic and sophisticated about a classic piece that doesn't rely on logos or flashy designs to make a statement. Shiv Roy, from "Succession," is a great example of someone who embodies this trend with her understated elegance and refined taste.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good high-end designer piece that showcases someone's wealth and status. But, there's a certain appeal to the quiet luxury trend that speaks to a sense of class and refinement. I'm all about a well-tailored blazer, beautifully crafted leather handbag, or impeccably made shoes that let the quality of the materials and craftsmanship speak for themselves.
That being said, there is definitely a time and place for "loud luxury." When celebrating or exploring an alter ego, it can be so much fun to play with bold prints, vibrant colors, and statement pieces that demand attention. The key is to balance these loud pieces with more understated items to avoid looking too over-the-top. It's all about finding a balance between quiet luxury and loud luxury to create a versatile wardrobe that reflects your personal style and values.
